The EU flagship initiative Border Management Programme in Central Asia holds the Closing Conference of the 10th Phase in Kyrgyzstan

BOMCA 10 strengthens Kazakhstan’s border control capacity

BOMCA 10 helps improving educational conditions for children in border regions of Kazakhstan

BOMCA 10 supports human rights protection in Aktobe region

From 23 to 25 June, a series of seminars on “National and international mechanisms for the protection of human rights in Kazakhstan” were organised by the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Akimat of Aktobe region, OSCE Programme Office in Astana and the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10), held in the village of Kobda, the Aktobe akimat and the Aktobe law institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

EU boosts regional explosive detection capacity with ToT training and K9 competition in Kazakhstan

From 9 to 18 June, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) held a regional Training of Trainers (ToT) course and a K9 competition in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The initiative aimed to strengthen the operational capacity of canine units in explosive detection and foster closer cross-border cooperation among Central Asian K9 units.
