BOMCA 10 supports digital learning at MIA Academy

  • Thematic Component: 2. Improvement of Detection Capacities
  • Country: Kazakhstan

On 3 July in Astana, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) handed over classroom equipment to the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan valued at EUR 18,450.

The new interactive panel, notebook and workstation, along with audio and classroom equipment, are essential for ensuring the effective delivery of educational programmes in a distance learning format. This upgrade will create the necessary conditions for high-quality and continuous professional education of the management staff of internal affairs bodies, as well as for the training of highly qualified scientific and managerial personnel at the master's and doctoral levels. The equipment will be used during lectures, seminars, training sessions and other academic activities, significantly enhancing both the quality and accessibility of professional education at the Academy.

This support was provided under BOMCA 10’s Component 2, “Improvement of Detection Capacities”, aimed at enhancing the professional development infrastructure and capabilities of law enforcement agencies.
