BOMCA 10 facilitates regional study visit on border control procedures to Latvia

From 27 to 29 May, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) organised a study visit to Latvia for specialists from agencies involved in phytosanitary and veterinary border controls from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

EU-funded BOMCA 10 strengthens regional cooperation in narcotics detection through advanced ToT training and K9 competitions

On 14-15 April, the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) funded by the European Union (EU) organised a regional advanced ToT training and K9 competition for customs, border, and law enforcement agencies of Central Asia. The event aimed to foster cooperation between K9 units and promote the continuous transfer of knowledge and practical skills in the field. It was hosted at the newly renovated K9 Regional Training Centre of the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic in Leninskoe village, Kyrgyzstan.
