On April 12 the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) officially handed over IT equipment to the State Veterinary Service and the State Service on Plant Quarantine of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan, accounting for a total value of 57 068.82 EUR.

A three-day national training course on modern methods of training dog handlers and instructors of the institutes and training centers from the Border Troops and Drug Control Agency, under the President of Tajikistan, was held in Dushanbe from 2-4 April, 2024.

From 18 to 19 March, the EU-funded Border Management programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) organised a training of trainers session on anti-trafficking in the border regions of Kazakhstan.
From March 11 to 15, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) organised a technical assistance mission in Tajikistan to support the national authorities of the republic in updating National Border Management Strategy (which expires in 2025) and its Action Plan.
