EU-funded programme supports Canine Centre of the Service for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyzstan

On May 19, the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA10) officially handed over the training accessories and other equipment for service dogs of the Canine Centre of the Service for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic with the total value of 7 115 EUR.

BOMCA strengthens Kyrgyz border agencies in contingency planning for mass influx of irregular migrants

From May 17 to 19, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) held a national workshop on preparedness to and prevention of mass influx arrivals of irregular migrants for the representatives of Kyrgyz central offices and regional headquarters of departments responsible for developing plans for interaction, coordinating and managing departments during emergencies.
