Consortium
The Border Management Programme in Central Asia is funded by the European Union and implemented by the consortium of partners:
- International Centre for Migration Policy Development, ICMPD (Lead Partner and Component 3 Coordinator)
- Central Finance and Contracting Agency of the Republic of Latvia, CFCA (Implementing partner and Component 1 Coordinator)
- CIVIPOL (Implementing partner and Component 2 Coordinator)
- INTERPOL (Implementing partner)
- United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, UNODC (Implementing partner).
The BOMCA programme leadership and overall strategic, administrative and financial management of the project is based at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development.
Regional structure
BOMCA Regional structure, consisting of BOMCA Regional Office in Bishkek and national positions across 5 Central Asian countries, ensures overall coordination, day-to-day technical and financial monitoring of the implementation of the project, and provides logistical support to the implementing partners in the organisation of activities in the region.
