This Component is coordinated by CIVIPOL, and co-implemented by CIVIPOL and project implementing partners INTERPOL and UNODC.

The Component aims to facilitate the cooperation between law enforcement and border control agencies, and support law enforcement agencies and evidence-based investigations, specifically in dealing with detection and investigation of cross-border crime. The activities will focus on enhancing regional cooperation by developing and piloting joint solutions to address cross-border irregularities and crime, strengthening the capacities of borders services and in-land law enforcement agencies to detect threats and investigate cross-border crime, providing support to already existing platforms such as CASC and IREN networks to ensure effective investigation and information exchange.
