This Component is coordinated by the Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA) of the Republic of Latvia and co-implemented by CFCA and the project implementing partners UNODC and INTERPOL.

The Component aims to develop and strengthen institutional capacities of border control agencies in achieving international standards and best practices to ensure national, regional and global security. The activities will support implementation of IBM Strategies, provision of targeted training on improved procedures at selected BCPs, strengthening of cooperation between control agencies, facilitating cross-border cooperation and information exchange.
