From October 11 to 13, the Border Management Programme in Central Asia held a workshop in Tashkent for representatives of the border guard and law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with INTERPOL.
From October 12 to13, the Border Management Programme in Central Asia held a workshop on profiling basics for border control units, customs officers, aviation safety officers, and staff of the Ministry of National Security of Turkmenistan.
From October 11 to 13, the Border Management Programme in Central Asia held a workshop in Bishkek for the personnel of border agencies and training institutions responsible for the development of methodology/teaching tools in such areas as e-learning, distance learning etc.

The meeting was aimed at reviewing the Programme’s progress for the year and to define plans for the upcoming period. For this purpose, the BOMCA 10 leadership, representatives of the European Union and implementing partners met with the key partners, such as state agencies and international organisations.
