In September 25 the Award Ceremony for the essay contest on topic «EU-Central Asia Cooperation: ways to strengthen Security and Stability in Central Asia» was held in Kyrgyzstan with participation of European Union Delegation, BOMCA and CADAP Programmes.
From September 19 to 22 September in Bishkek, the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) conducted grant monitoring meetings with the non-governmental organisations (NGOs) who received funding for implementation of the projects in the border regions of Central Asian countries.
The EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) held the second round of National Project Steering Group meetings (NSG) in Kyrgyzstan, in order to review the progress of its second implementation year and define plans for the upcoming period. From September 4 to 6, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) held a workshop in Tashkent for the representatives of Uzbekistan’s Customs Administration on different transit systems, their requirements and application.
From August 31 to September 01, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) organised a training course on the project management cycle for the representatives of non-governmental organisations working in the border areas of Tajikistan.
