The EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) officially handed over specialised software and equipment to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan, accounting for a total value of EUR 96 192.00.

The beneficiary, being the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan, received 2 licenses with USB key, personal computers and other technical devices. The supplied software and equipment will be used by the employees of the operational units of the ministry to conduct operational and search activities related to cross-border crimes.

Apart from supplies, BOMCA 10 organised a certified tailored training for 8 representatives of the ministry, during which employees learnt how to use specialised software and equipment.

These assets were purchased by BOMCA 10 to further strengthen the technical basis of the respective agency to address specific border management priorities, which in turn supports the achievement of results under the programme.
