Ms Miralbekova has been working in education for over 23 years. A graduate of Tashkent State Pedagogical University specialising in teaching Russian, she has risen from a secondary school teacher to Head of the Department of Languages at the Military Border Institute of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan. Ms Miralbekova has produced A Collection of Texts for Reading and Discussion for the institute’s students and continues to write articles on foreign language teaching methods. She was recently promoted to a colonel in recognition of her services.
