Training for CA NGOs and CSOs on the project management cycle (Fundraising and Project Development)

Acknowledging an important role played by NGOs in the area of migration and development of border regions, BOMCA 10 makes a special emphasis on the cooperation with the NGOs in achieving the Programme’s overall and specific objectives. Within the framework of the BOMCA 10 Component 4 on Improvement of Cross-Border Cooperation for better living conditions in border areas through local economic development focusing on human rights, gender equality and support to vulnerable groups, up to 30 representatives of the Central Asian NGOs have an opportunity to take part in the Training on the Project Management Cycle taking place from 20 to 27 January 2022 (online, via Zoom platform). 

The training consists of three sessions, each dedicated to a specific project management stage:

  • Session 1 (20 – 21 January): Project Fundraising and Development;
  • Session 2 (24 – 25 January): Project Implementation;
  • Session 3 (26 – 27 January): Project Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E).

Participants:

Representatives of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) working in the border areas of the Central Asian states.

Objective of the training:

  • to improve the capacities of the Central Asian NGOs to develop project proposals and identify suitable donor organisations;
  • to strengthen capacities to implement and projects and monitor the projects results.

Expected results: 

The capacities of the Central Asian NGOs on all stages of project management cycle have been substantially improved further strengthening the important role played by NGOs in supporting local communities in border areas of Central Asia.
