BOMCA 10 - Institutional Development of Border Control Agencies

Through Component 1: “Institutional Development of Border Control Agencies” of the EU-funded BOMCA 10 Programme, coordinated by the State Border Guard of the Republic of Latvia, Central Asian border authorities expanded e-learning and instructor capacity, strengthened document security and profiling, upgraded risk analysis and equipped Kyrgyzstan’s Border Service with a modern Situation Centre- resulting in harmonised procedures and renewed cross-border contacts, including progress on Kyrgyzstan–Tajikistan demarcation.
