BOMCA 10 - Improvement of Cross-Border Cooperation

Under Component 4: “Improvement of Living Conditions in Border Areas” of the EU-funded BOMCA 10 Programme, implemented by ICMPD, strengthened local economies and supported vulnerable groups across Central Asia. By building the capacity of local authorities, empowering NGOs with grants, and providing equipment for schools and small businesses, the component improved services, advanced gender equality and created new opportunities in border communities. The result is safer, more resilient and better connected border regions.
