K9 trainers from Central Asia completed ToT in Latvia

On October 14, at the Canine Center of the State Border Guard College of Latvia, the closing ceremony took place of the training course for specialists in the field of cynology (training for instructors) for five countries in Central Asia - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. This training course was organized under Component 2 of BOMCA  10 “Improvement of detection capacities”.

The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Latvia Timur Primbetov; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Latvia Kadambai Sultanov; as well as General Guntis Pujats, Head of the State Border Guard of the Republic of Latvia; representatives of the BOMCA 10 programme; and the International Center for Migration Policy Development.

During the event, certificates successful completion of the course were given to specialists in the field of cynology of the countries of Central Asia.
