EU-funded programme keeps building capacity in the area of document security the countries of Central Asia

From October 23 to 26, EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia held a national ToT session on document security (advanced level) in Bishkek.

This BOMCA activity aimed to enhance the capacity of trainers and border checkpoint staffs, in line with the EU best practices in document authentication. The training was attended by the checkpoint employees from different regions of Kyrgyzstan and the instructors of the Center for Advanced Training and Border Faculty of the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defence of Kyrgyzstan, responsible for training professionals in the area of document checks of persons crossing the border.

The expertise during the workshop was delivered by the Head of the Expertise Service of the State Border Guard of Latvia.
