EU-funded Programme enhanced technical capacities of the services of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan

On 7th December the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA10) officially handed over various assets to the Department of Chemicalization and Plant Quarantine and Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyzstan.

The total value of these assets is 9,888 EUR.

15 cold fog generators were handed over to the Department of Chemicalization and Plant Quarantine under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyzstan.  

The Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyzstan received 5 sets of computers for border veterinary check points.

The handover was signed off by the Regional Manager, Mr. Maris Domins, Director of the Department of Chemicalization and Plant Quarantine, Mr. Dyikanbai Kenzhebaev, and by the Deputy Director of the Veterinary Service Mr. Bakyt Sharapov.

These assets were purchased by BOMCA on the basis of an ad hoc request by the national counterparts to further strengthen the technical basis of their respective agencies, which in its turn support the achievement of results under the BOMCA programme.
