EU-funded BOMCA programme keeps improving professional skills of Kyrgyz law enforcement and state security authorities in the field of cynology, focusing on searches for explosives, arms and ammunition

On May 20, BOMCA 10 launched two-week training course designed for cynology instructors focusing on searches of explosives, arms and ammunition.

This programme activity aims to improve the knowledge of K9 instructors of the 9th Service of the State Committee of the National Security, K9 specialized Units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Border Service of Kyrgyzstan and Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan.

A certified K9 trainer from the Border Service of the State National Security Service of Kyrgyzstan shared theoretical and practical knowledge and good practices gained during a three-month ToT session that BOMCA 10 organized in the European Union (Lithuania) in 2022, within the framework of the Programme’s Component 2 – “Improvement of detection and investigation of cross-border crime capabilities”.
