The EU funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) officially handed over a set of K9 equipment to the Canine Service of the Training Centre “Poytakht” of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan, accounting for a total value of 4,950 EUR.

Canine Service received training suits with helmets, dog grooming kits, and other specific items, which will be used for training purposes.

These assets were purchased by BOMCA on the basis of an ad hoc request by the national counterparts of the programme to strengthen capabilities to detect different types of cross-border crimes.
