BOMCA-OSCE training course improved skills of Kazakh operatives in identification and investigation of human trafficking cases with the help of modern technological tools

In the framework of its Component 4, aimed at improvement of cross-border cooperation, and in partnership with the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Programme Office in Astana, BOMCA 10 held the second in a series of training sessions on combating human trafficking using modern technologies from 16-18 October, in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The joint activity gathered operative officers from several border regions of Kazakhstan, together with international experts and teaching staff of the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, named after Barimbek Beisenov. The training course improved the skills of the operatives in the application of modern technological approaches, in identification and investigation of cases of human trafficking in Kazakhstan and in its implications for border regions.
