On 22 July, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) handed over 4 interactive panels valued at EUR 9,228 to the Customs Institute of the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
The new equipment will modernise classroom settings by enabling the use of intellectual software, educational platforms and multimedia learning complexes. The interactive panels will improve the delivery of visual content, facilitate the organisation of training events and help develop practical skills for future customs professionals.
The equipment was provided under the Programme’s Component 3, which aims to further support the regional economic integration process through improvement of operational practices, training and skills of customs personnel and contributing to smoother customs regulations.
