On 23 September, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) handed over modern IT and classroom equipment to the State Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan, valued at EUR 9,756.23.
The support will establish a fully equipped training room to strengthen the professional capacity of veterinary personnel and host regular courses, seminars and short modules, while providing a platform to introduce new approaches aligned with international standards. It is expected to enhance curriculum quality, improve legislative knowledge, and reduce epidemiological risks. The new equipment includes desktop computers, a laptop, monitors, a printer, a TV with stand, a conference camera with microphone, a wireless presenter, air-conditioning and heating units and full classroom furniture. This will make it possible to run trainings comfortably both online and in person.
The equipment was provided under the Programme’s Component 3 “Facilitation of Trade”, which aims to further support the regional economic integration process.
