BOMCA 10 purchased communication equipment to Uzbek plant protection and quarantine agency to ensure effective communication at border checkpoints

On April 15, 2024, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) handed over specialized equipment to the Agency of Plant Protection and Quarantine under the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan.

Beneficiary agency received 181 pcs internet portable radio and 4 pcs keyboard expansion module.

This equipment is purchased to ensure effective communication with quarantine posts at border checkpoints and organization of meetings, as well as to notify about changes in procedures for checking quarantined products at customs posts, as well as to ensure communication between various posts, territorial divisions and the agency.

The total value of the transferred equipment amounted to 9 992.59 EUR.
