Deputy Project leader of BOMCA 10 Mr. Vladimirs Zaguzovs and BOMCA 10 Regional Manager Mr. Maris Domins have visited Tajikistan and met with the representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, EU Delegation to Tajikistan as well as national programme counterparts and international partners to discuss the implementation process as well as priorities for the future cooperation within framework of BOMCA programme.

Also BOMCA 10 management paid visit to the K-9 service of the Drug Control Agency under the President of Tajikistan and K-9 Centre of Border Troops to get familiarised with the training process of dogs and cynology officers. Recall that in 2022 BOMCA 10 in EU / Latvia organised three-months ToT course to improve theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of detection of drugs. It is worth to note that Drug Control Agency K9 officer and trained dog is bringing significant results by already having disclosure case of illicit trafficking in drugs recently.

Besides mentioned, BOMCA management met with the leadership of Border Troops of Tajikistan, Border Troops Training centre, Customs Institute, OSCE in Tajikistan and OSCE Border Management Staff College.
