BOMCA 10 strengthens training capacities in combating human trafficking

On 4 July, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) handed over a modern educational equipment valued at EUR 22, 830 to the Karagandy Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The  new equipment including an interactive panel, teacher’s workstation with a notebook, audio and video equipment, a unified forensic suitcase and specialised software for modelling investigative actions will locate at in the Centre for Training Specialists in combating human trafficking. The upgraded classroom will enhance practical and theoretical learning and help build the professional capacity of law enforcement personnel to tackle cross-border and organised crime.

This support was provided under BOMCA 10’s Components 1 and 2, aimed at fostering cooperation among training institutions in Central Asia and supporting law enforcement agencies through evidence-based investigations, particularly in the detection and investigation of cross-border crime.
