Handover of video equipment to Border troops of Tajikistan

On October 14, a transfer ceremony of video equipment purchased by BOMCA program for a total of 38,000 Euros was held at the Central Office of the Border Troops of the Republic of Tajikistan. Video surveillance systems – multichannel video recorders, internal and external video cameras, hard drives and uninterruptible power supplies and other components will be installed at checkpoints on the Tajik-Afghan border.

The equipment provided will allow to optimize border check process, to create, store and analyze video records and data on potential violators and potentially dangerous persons, to contribute to the fight against drug trafficking as well as prevent corruption on behalf of border guards and people crossing the State order.
